SAP WM-PP Interface question? Do Activation or not?

Hello Gurus

My client is going to implement SAP WM. He performs movemnt type 261 from t-code COR6N from storage locations that are going to be affected by WM implementation. So I m in doubt about if I have to activate the WM-PP interface in customizing or if it is not mandatory to cover this ?
