Product Wise Profit Centers

Hi

I plan to maintain Product wise profit centers. The Problem is that during the production process all the materials pass through the same production line. Can anybody suggest me how to map such scenario. Can I do it by Profit Center Derivation Strategy.

So that whenever a Particular group of material is created the relevant profit center is derived.
