Change useful life Fixed Asset master data after depreciation run.

Hi Experts,

 

I have client with SAP 8.8 PL 21 and my user ask about changing usefull life on Fixed Asset master data after deppreciation run because there are some internal decision.

Are it possible to change that?

I already test on my local environment but there an error "784 : Failed to save fixed asset master data".

I know that SLT is possible in Operational data mart but not in Agile.

 

 

Could you please help me with scenarios on when to go for Agile or Operational data marts.

BI 4.1 SP4 - SSO Setup Issue using Load Balancer

I am able to setup SSO for Web Server URL. However I am having trouble with Load balancer URL.


We are using Business Objects 4.1 SP4 and here's the infrastructure details of the environment:


1. BO CMS Server - This is a list of 4 clustered windows 2008 R2 servers.


2. Web Server - We are using WebLogic 10.3.6 to host the BO application called BOE. WebLogic is running in two Linux servers. WebLogic URL http://isdwlqax12:17607/BOE/BIhttp://isdwlqax11:17607/BOE/BI


3. Load Balancer - The URL is hosted by iPlanet webserver from 2 Linux servers and it acts as a load balancer.

URL http://bat-cmt-reporting.domain.com/BOE/BI  -- The users will use this URL to launch BI LaunchPad

The SSO is working fine when I use the WebLogic URL i.e. http://isdwlqax12:17607/BOE/BI. However, when I use the Load Balancer URL, the SSO is not working. I have to manually enter username and password to login.


I have also added below SPN for load balance servers and URL in the service account. Still the SSO is not working.

DropDown filter limiation in SAP BO design studio

Hi,

I'm facing an issue while designing my application in design studio 1.1

The scenario is that I've to restrict the memberlist of one drop down box based on the other drop down value.

 

For ex. if dropdown_1 is for Route_No and dropdown_2 is for all BMTC bus. Based on the Route_No selected in dropdown_1, memberlist of

dropdown_2 should be restricted.

 

 

I have tried filtering the datasource and then using getMemberlist method of data source. But it seems, getmemberList method works on the initial view

of data source and not on the intermediate filter.

 

 

 

Any suggestion??

Does it actually a limiltation to have this behavior??

Fixed Assest with Cost Center

How to set External Library DC's Public parts in NWDS 7.02

Hi,

 

I have built DC of External Library in NWDS to include all the jar, required for WebDynpro Java Project in another DC.

As I need to make enable External Library type DC available to WD DC, looking for option to set Public Parts.

However, with NWDS 7.02, I am not seeing an option to set the public parts for External Library type DC.

 

 

Please let me know, how can I set the Public Parts for an External Library DC in NWDS.

This DC created, gets visible in Navigation Perspective only on NWDS, where I don't see DC Meta Data like section, as we see for WD DC type in Webdynpro Perspective of NWDS.

Windows AD Authentication fails

Hi Friends,

 

 

When i login to mobile i am getting bellow error:

 

Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again. If you are not a member of the default domain, enter your user name as UserName@DNS_DomainName, and then try again. (FWM 00006)

 

there is no error while login to BI Launch pad,CMC,ITD only i get error in mobile..........

 

When i m login with administrator to mobile its working fine but coming to Windows AD its getting

 

plzzzz help me...............

Adobe Document Service Configuration Issue

Hi All,

 

Actually we have installed SAP ADS 7.4 ON SAP NetWeaver 7.4 JAVA STACK HUB

SYSTEM.

 

I did the configuration as per the SAP Standard documents. The ABAP

connection in ADS is working but ADS configuration in an ABAP environment

is not working.

 

 

While I am executing the form in SFP, I am getting the error message:

ADS:com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101).

 

While I am testing the ADS configuration in ABAP environment, I am getting the error:

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException:com.adobe.Processin(200101).

 

While I am checking the Destination service in SAP ECC I am getting theerror: SYSTEM ERROR:

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException:com.adobe.ProcessingException: XMLFM Exception during render:com.adobe.ProcessingException(200,101).


For the above issues I raised ticket to SAP. They suggested below steps, So I did the first three steps but I don't know how to do the 4th and 5th steps means how to copy the and extract the files.



1. Shutdown J2EE engine

2. Rename the folder

/usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap

to antoher folder name (ex. adssap.old)

3. Start J2EE engine

4. Make sure XMLFormService_native.zip is copied under os_libs fold

during starting up engine (synchronize phase)

5. Also make sure XMLform.exe is extracted under

/usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin

 

Please help me from where to copy the zip file mentioned in 4th step and find the attachments for error screen shots for reference.

PI 7.4 Connectivity to Central SLD

Hello All,

 

PI 7.4 Server installation has been done. PI is connected to Central SLD. Connectivity is also a success one. But when doing SLDCHECK, getting below error,

 

Calling function LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

No corresponding business system found for system <SID>     client 100

=> Check and maintain the SLD content for the current client



Summary: Connection to SLD works technically, but the SLD content may need maintenance

=> Check and maintain the SLD data content


Since I am a PI consultant I gut struck here that how can I add Client details in SLD / Business System?

Please help..

Hi Experts,

 

     How to add color to table rows depending upon some status from OData. I have done something like shown below. Its working fine for Desktop but not working for Mobile version. Is there any other way, please suggest.

List items not visible

Hi

 

I am using a list in splitapp master page and splitapp is added in a page.Unable to display all the elements in the list as shown in the below image.When i click on the last element of the list the toolbar is hiding automatically.

OXM_CBO_STATISTIC COLLECTOR job getting failed

Hello,

 

1.)  The job which is scheduled daily in our sap SRM - EHP 3 system running on Linux OS and oracle 11.2. is getting failed regularly and dumps.

What is the need for this job?

 

2.)  Also , we get a problem in the system when cust runs some queries in the 111 (prod) client - like getting too many dumps (memory related , ASSERTION_FAILED , TIME_OUT's...) and getting ora - 01555 errors regarding old snapshots (undo_retention) deletion time....We get to extend PSAPUNDO when such things happen.

 

Our undo_ret value is 43200 secs.

 

Should we increase it?

SAP WM: Consider both "consignment" (K) and "not consignment" stock as available for TO creation

Hi gurus,

 

We have a big issue in our Warehouse Management stock removal process.

 

We are using a "Block Storage with SU" storage type, with FIFO removal strategy.

 

In this storage type we can have "consignment" (K) and "not consignment" stock in the same bin. (The physical process is that when the forklift driver takes one storage unit that is "consignment stock", we will transfer it to "not consignment".)

 

We are creating the transfer requirements using the LP11 & LP12. When we create the transfer order, we need the system to consider as available all the stock in the bins, both the "not consignment" and "consignment" stock. But as the transfer requirements are for "not consignment" stock, the system is only considering the not consignment stock.

 

We have tried the "MWMTO004 Own stock removal strategy", but in the EXIT_SAPLL03A_005 function, but it seems that the quantities of the T_QMAT table can only be decreased, not increased.

 

For example, I have a transfer request of 5 UN and I have in the bin A0001:

- Free (not consignment) stock 4 UN

- Consignment stock 1

 

I want the system to create a transfer order of 5 UN for the bin A0001. In the user exit, I can only see as available 4 UN in the T_QMAT table and if I manually modify the quantity from 4 to 5, the system does not consider the change.

 

Can anybody help us with this issue?

Bulk strategy inEWM

I am facing issue in picking process for Bulk strategy.

Stock has been maintained in storage type.In a bin as per config 15 Handling Units are placed.

I have created outbound delivery with 10 EA. While creation of task system is creating only one task with 10 EA.Any clue why system is proposing only one task for entire quantity ?

When delivery is created with 1 EA system is working as per expectation and Bin is getting blocked.

Changing ABAP Editor in SWO1

Currently I am getting ABAP Editor for methods (When selected any method and click on program) in SWO1 as per attached screen shot. It is bit complicated to work with it. How can I change it to get same editor as we get in SE38?

Hi

 

I am trying to transfer budget from one project to another using CJ34.

 

For this I had annual budget of 2,906,076.00 and released budget is 2,906,076.00, as budget is released 100%. I had reverted some amount back from CJ32. Now released budget is 2,893,076.00 and available budget is 13,000/-

 

Now I am trying to transfer it but it show an error "BQ004 annual budget is less than the distributed budget"

 

for this I had checked distributed budget column in CJ33 and Found that distributed budget is 2,893,076.00 and same time when i refer S_ALR_87013559 report distributed budget come 2,906,076/-.

 

I had run CJEN and CJBN but it doesn't make any change.

 

Please Help.

Redefine OData Service

Hi Team,

     When we are redefining the service with same service For Example : If there is a service name ZSAMPLE_SRV  and redefine the same service,then donig changes and generating the service. Now,if I'm maintaining the service in Gateway Server (/iwfnd/maint_service) it throws an error as Model not assigned for the service ZSAMPLE_SRV,even if model is assigned to that service.

MRP generated schedule lines not in sequence

Dear friends,

 

Client uses MRP to generate schedule lines for scheduling agreement.

For some materials, the MRP generated schedule lines are not in sequence (i.e not in ascending order of schedule line numbers).

Please see image.

For eg. schedule line 1 is followed by line 9 and then line 2 etc.
