Extend Standard SAP Fiori App in Web IDE - not fatching data

Hi Experts,

I have set the WebIDEUsage for "odata_abap,ui5_execute_abap,dev_abap,dev_gen,bsp_execute_abap" to allow all usages for connecting On Premise system and allow me to extend installed Fiori apps on Premise ECC system. I am able to import the Fiori App front-end component to SAP Web IDE from SAP Gateway available on premise. But when I tried to run the index.html of extension project on SAP Web IDE for imported standard fiori app, it shows me the UI without back-end(ECC) data. Am I missing somthing? I wanted to extend standard SAP Fiori App available and working fine with data on my OnPrem system. I am not able to understand why it is not picking the data from backend ecc system.

How to view a report on deleted assets?

Scenario:- Customer wants a report for audit purpose on assets that have been deleted. Since the asset number cannot be reused again. Is it possible to have a report that shows the missing asset numbers i.e. the deleted assets, along with some other details such as date deleted ?.

 

I have already tried report S_ALR_870119644 using dynamic options. It only shows asset that have been marked for deletion but not the ones that have been physically deleted.

 

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Issues on delta query and $expand.

Hello,

I am participating on the development of a Gateway-based mobile application, we have been discussing “local off-line data storing” methods, and that is when Delta Query came to us as an option. Our services are using right now some “expands” in order to bring together associated entities, and there is our biggest complication. The following article shows how to implement a basic delta query (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-47043), and at its very end the article says that there is no way to use delta query and $expands together.

 

I would like to know if there is now any kind of solution or alternative method that enables the simultaneous use of “delta querying” and “$expand”.

Auto Packing of Batches

Hi,

 

I got the below batches for different Materials in an Outbound Delivery,

 

Line item- 10- Material- 1, Batch- 1

Line item- 20- Material- 2, Batch- 2, Batch- 3

Line item- 30- Material -3, Batch- 4, Batch- 5, Batch-6

 

While performing Auto packing, I found the batches have not been picked sequentially (Packed the Batch- 1 completely, next Packed the Batch- 2 completely, then packed Batch- 4, then packed Batch- 3, then packed Batch- 5 and then Batch- 6)

 

But the requirement is that it should pack sequentially as below,

(Pack the Batch- 1 completely, next Pack the Batch- 2 completely and it should go for Batch- 3, Batch- 4, Batch- 5, Batch- 6 one after the other sequentially)

 

Is there any soution to address the issue to pack sequentially?

How do we transport lumira story boards from Dev to QA to Prod if we not integrated with BOBJ? Is there a way to transport objects if we just use Lumira Desktop and Lumira Server?

Cost Assignment Values

Hi All,

 

     I need to validate the Cost Assignment for Trip, Mileage and  Receipts in Travel Request, whether if the user has entered cumulative sum to 100% in Cost Assignment % or not. Currently if the user is entering 80%, it is considering this and allocating the rest(20%) to acc. to trip costs assignment guidelines. Hence to avoid this, we are validating so that the user enters complete 100% in the cost assignment.

 

For the same, is there any way to fetch these values in the review screen, so that we can validate them here and thrown an error and restrict him submitting/saving the travel request/plan.

Date variable selection - default

Hi Gurus,

 

Our Webi report is based on a BW Bex query. The date prompt in the BO report is based from the variable from the Bex query.

 

On whichever day when I try to run the webi report in the prompt  I want to see the previous day by default in the prompt selection. How can this be done?

 

i.e. for the selection it should show the previous day. i.e. instead of 06/02/2015 it should show previous day(in our case it should show 19/02/2015)

 

In webi its difficult, I am exploring the possibility of doing it in the Bex any way.

FM:SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE behaves differenty in Q & Dev Client

Dear Expert,

 

SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE Works fine in Q but in Dev it's complete the current work item & does not create the new Work item for the next level approval.

 

I have checked the log & found error in Dev Cleint  "Work Item & is locked by User WF-Batch'  which is not coming in Q client.

 

after callling FM SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE (wait statement is there for 6 Seconds).

 

Please suggest what to do. Thanks is Advance....

Installation for IDM 7.2

Hi Gurus,

 

I am new in IDM, just finished reading most of the documentation (so just to have a background what are the steps, background etc. behind IDM). So now, I will now start the installation process. This is the first time I will be installing a system or an SAP Product. I just read in the documentation:

 

 

“It is possible to run the script file from the server
running Management Console which has the Oracle Client for Microsoft Windows
Installed. You need to install the 32 bit version of the Oracle Client if you are
running a 32-bit Java Virtual Machine in Microsoft.”

 

I, by the way needs to install it in Oracle. I have already downloaded the SAP IDM 7.2 Installers from SAP Marketplace.

 

Below is my system set up:

 

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, SP1

System Type: 64-bit

Few are my question (I apologize if my questions may sound beginner like, but as I have said, I am new in Installation. )

 

1. How do I run the scripts in th MMC, I already checked and it is checking only for .msc file types?

2. If Oracle Client needs to be installed, do I still download a separate installer from Oracle for the client or the SAP Download for the IDM already have that Oracle Client)?

3. What is your preffered oracle version based on my system setup?

 

Really appreciate any inputs.

Upgrading to SAP Business One 8.8

Hi all...

 

I'm trying to upgrade a system to 8.8 PL 15, and this upgrade don't finish suscessfully.

The steps to do this upgrade:

 

1. we created a new company (8.8 PL 15)

2. In sqlserver we restored the databade with a 2007 version

3. we execute the upgrade. The Database verification process is ok

4. and finally the upgrade result is failed. 'Stock Update', and we verified the log and we have this information:

Workflow container value is not getting populated after copied workflow template to other server

Hello Experts,


Copied a custom Appraisal Workflow from a server to an another Dev server. But after activating the workflow in new server, the task container value is not getting populated correctly.

 

I have checked all the bindings between method_>task and task->to Workflow and moreover Workflow is triggered properly.

Tried to use SWU_OBUF without success.

 

Did the all neccessary things to activate workflow properly.

 

I have no clue about this issue though the appraisal workflow in other server from which I have copied, is working properly in another server.

Please suggest. The requirement is very urgent.

Default value for Date Field

Hi All,

 

I am trying to convert one table into .hdbtable.

 

Below is the SQL code for my table.

CREATE COLUMN TABLE "SCHEMA"."TABLE" (                                                  

                 'FIELD1' VARCHAR(128),                                             

                 "FIELD2" VARCHAR(64),                                             

                 "FIELD3" VARCHAR(128)) UNLOAD PRIORITY 5 AUTO MERGE      ;      

                                                     

ALTER TABLE "SCHEMA"."TABLE"                                                            

WITH PARAMETERS ('CONCAT_ATTRIBUTE'=('EXPRESSION=FIELD4_DATE( now() )',                                                       

 

Now I want to convert the above into .hdbtable


table.schemaName = "SCHEMA";

table.tableType = COLUMNSTORE;        

table.columns =              

[            

{name = "FIELD1";                sqlType = VARCHAR; length = 128;} ,

{name = "FIELD2";                sqlType = VARCHAR; length = 64;} ,

{name = "FIELD3";                sqlType = VARCHAR; length = 128;} ,

{name = "FIELD4_DATE";     sqlType = TIMESTAMP; nullable = true; }

];           

 

Now I want to provide default date to field "FIELD4_DATE".

In SQL we can achieve this by 'ALTER'.

 

Can you please suggest me how to do in the .hdbtable?

is there any other way to convert the table into .hdbtable? rather than righting code..."table.schemaName = "SCHEMA";  .......]


PS: I have googled and searched in SCN portal. Not able to get any answers. Hence, I have posted.

Dump issue for binding context node on Web UI

Hi Colleague,

 

I create a binding for the context node as below for getting customizing values for a dropdown list, but there is a dump issue occured when clicking on Save button, which runtime error is 'RAISE_EVENT_NESTING_LIMIT'. If I remove this binding, no dump issue and can save activity successfully. Could you also explain more about binding relationship among different context nodes on Web UI?

Leave Request Task TS12300097: Status is not changed

Hi All

 

 

 

  For the ESS version Leave Request, we are using a copy of standard workflow WS12300111.

 

  When applying leave, the workflow template is triggered and processed to task TS12300097. In this task, we use customized rule to find agent.

 

  In Universal Worklist, we can do the approval process and after approved, the leave request’s status is changed. But the problem is the approval task is still in the UWL, status is still “new” and the workflow template gets stuck at this step.

 

  The description of TS12300097 said: Once you have processed the request, the work item will automatically be set to "completed." automatically be set to "completed."

 

  And we can not find out why our leave request is not behave like that. Please kindly advise the possible reason.

Centralized BP and Cost Centre Master Creation

Hi,

 

My client has 3 databases in SAP for 3 related entities. They want that when they create a Business Partner or a Cost Center in any 1 database, the application should prompt them to select which of the other 2 databases the same master should get created in.

 

Based on user selection, the same master with the same code but with a different prefix should get created in the other database.

 

Certain fields like Name, if changed in any 1 database, should get updated in the other databases also.

 

I need your suggestions on how to achieve this. What issues may come up and how to handle them?

Using single sign-on, I can log on to the current database. How will I connect to the other 2 databases?

Name1-vendor name not coming in FBL1N

Hi,

 

vendor name is not coming for the field Name1 in the FBL1N when i execute background job for vendor line items

 

i checked in vendor master data, field is having name.

i can able to view the vendor name in forground in normal execute but having issue in backgroun job.
