When I try to make Button and set Type to Online request (Invoke object query), there is no parameters in Parameter mappings nor Personalization keys and I get this message:

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.

while trying to invoke the method com.sybase.uep.tooling.models.device.IPersonalizationKey.getName() of an object loaded from local variable 'pk'

I don't have variable named just 'pk' but have two personalization keys (pk_bukrs, pk_pj) if this can help..

Until now it all works fine. I try to make project from beginning but it remains same.

Is there a way in SAP Foreign Trade where I can put Embargo based on Country of Departure.

Example :

When Product shipped from US - Iran will be Embargo

When Product shipped from Japan - Iran is not Embargo. (Different Plant)

Currently there is only one setting in Foreign Trade which excludes the countries for all.

I am raising this question only after the thorough search on google as well as SCN.

I am getting wrong output type for printing GI material document. In place of WA03 system is picking up WE03 which causes to pick the smart form designed for goods receipt.

This has happened when I was trying to configure the system for immediate printing of GI document.

After facing this issue I restored all the settings in NACE or MN21 but still the issue persists.

I have maintained the folliwng setting,

in NACE for ME- Inventory Management, condition records, for output type WA03- GI Collective, transaction event type WA, print version 3, I have maintained 1- Material Document Printout & 6- Matl Doc. Printout for GR/GI, medium 1 & dispatch time- 3 (as I am using MB90 for printing) & language as 3.

I have maintained the communication setting for the both & maintained printer name too. Still for GI materila document the output type is picked as WE03 in place of WA03. I haven't done any changes for output type WE03 in NACE.

Could you please help me solve this error?

We are unable to upload in to ROS site with P45 XML files.

I checked ROS people and sent them the file we are trying to load, they ran it through the test system and are getting the same errors.

I have create the appraisal template in Phap_catalog and also am able to see the template in the portal.

My template has 4 separate heads 1) Objectives 2) Training Needs 3) Further Comments 4) Final Rating score.

I have created them as separate VB's in the R/3 template. They are also appearing in the portal as one page.

All heads are sequence in one page sequence. But instead I want to see them as separate tabs in the portal.

I want to arrange each heads as separate tab.

Please suggest some standard method to view or sequence them in a particular order in for viewing in portal page.

This is a personal blog post to document the steps necessary for ABAP syntax highlighting in Notepad++, my text editor of choice.

Although the steps are present on internet, this post may be helpful for some people.

Below steps are for Notepad++ version 6.5.1.

These steps are required because ABAP syntax (technical term is UDL - User Defined Languages) is not bundled in Notepad++, and hence ABAP syntax needs to be imported as a user defined language.

Adding ABAP syntax to Notepad++

1. Download Notepad++ from Notepad++ Download page
2. Download the ABAP syntax file from sourceforge userDefinedLang ABAP.zip
3. Unzip the zip file to get ABAP.xml file.
4. Open Notepad++, go to Menu > Language > Define your language, and click on Import button.
5. Choose ABAP.xml file, you should get popup 'Import successful'.
6. These steps would make Notepad++ capable of syntax highlighting.

How to test whether ABAP syntax is working

There are 2 ways to test the feature.

1. Put abap code in text file with extension .abap, and open it in Notepad++.
2. Write some code in Notepad++, go to Menu > Language > ABAP

In case ABAP is not visible is Menu > Language, it means ABAP syntax is not yet imported. Try importing the UDL file again.

In future, I may update this blog with modified UDL file that makes syntax similar to SAP GUI New ABAP Editor.

I may also try out something like this in jEdit text editor.

hi, there, I have a problem to include DP document in F110.

As you know, down payment document( same doc nr) open items with posting key 29(A block automatically)  and 31 would all show up in proposal. B

ut sometimes only posting key 31 displays in the proposal. I am not sure whether it will affect to deduct the final payment in the future.

I used to reverse and rebook the DP document with the same booking, then all the items can be picked up in the payment proposal.

do you know why it happen and will it affect the future payment?
